Anthony J. Saia, Jr. C.P.O.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist


Tony has been working in prosthetics and orthotics since 1979 and opened Bio-Tech with Mike Neal, C.P.O., in 1995. While working as an orthotic and prosthetic technician, he completed his degrees in orthotics and prosthetics in 1986 and 1988 respectively, at Northwestern University and became certified by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 1988. Tony is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP), and has practiced in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Greensboro, N.C. before beginning Bio-Tech Winston-Salem. Aside from his extensive experience as a C.P.O., Tony has also been extremely active teaching orthotics and prosthetics since 1994 at various schools in North Carolina including Elon College, Guilford College, and Winston-Salem State University.

In his spare time Tony enjoys riding his motorcycles and spending time with his wife, Mary, and their four children.

Susan R. Clark, C.P.O.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist

Susan has been working at Bio-Tech since 2002 and in the field of prosthetics and orthotics since 1985. She earned her BS in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1995 and became certified in 2000 by the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Susan is a member of the American Academy or Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and has practiced in Texas, Maryland and Charlotte, N.C. before joining Bio-Tech in Winston-Salem. As well as seeing patients at Baptist Hospital and Forsyth Medical Center, Susan travels to Mt. Airy once a week for her patients. She enjoys, and is experienced in, fitting myoelectric upper extremity limbs, including the I-Limb, as well as microprocessor knees for lower extremity limbs.

Outside of work, Susan is an active member of her church and enjoys hiking and cycling as well as riding motorcycles.

Eric Rasmussen, C.P.O.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist

Eric joined Bio-Tech in 2012 and has worked in the field of prosthetics and orthotics since 1993. He earned his BA in Biology and Sports Medicine in 1992 at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and became certified in 2000 as a prosthetist-orthotist after completing courses at Century College in Minnesota. Eric is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and has practiced in Minnesota and Statesville and Salisbury, N.C., before joining Bio-Tech in Winston-Salem. As well as seeing patients at Baptist Hospital and Forsyth Medical Center, once a week Eric travels to the VA hospital in Salisbury where he has been actively involved in the care of our veterans since 2000. Eric has extensive certifications in a full variety of microprocessor prosthetic solutions.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and son, is a whitewater kayak instructor and loves to cook!

Larry Powers, C.P. / C.O.A.
Certified Prosthetist/ Certified Orthotic Assistant

Larry has been working in prosthetics and orthotics for many years and joined Bio-Tech Greensboro in 1997. He received his associate degree in prosthetics at Harmanville Rehabilitation Technical Institute and his certificate in orthotics from Shelby State. Larry treats both orthotic and prosthetic patients but his passion is prosthetics. Being a prosthetist is actually a second career for Larry, who actually worked in the chemical industry for many years. Larry feels that working as a prosthetist is his way of giving back to his community and has enormous gratitude daily for the privilege and joy in helping to improve the quality of life for all of his patients.

When not working, Larry relaxes by playing golf and enjoys fishing.

Robert Walters, C.O./C.Ped.
Certified Orthotist, Certified Pedorthist.

Robert has been working in orthotics and prosthetics since 1986 and joined Bio-Tech in 2007. Having attended both Rockingham Community College and the Medical College of Wisconsin, Robert became certified by the American Board of Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics, (ABC), in 1989 and as an orthotist in 1990.

He currently works in our Bio-Tech office in Raleigh but has practiced at UNC-CH, Moses Cone Hospital, Wake Med, REX and Western Wake Med.

John R. Crutchfield, C.O.
Certified Orthotist

Bobby began working in orthotics in 1988 and became a certified orthotist in 1998. After a brief break from orthotics, Bobby began working at Bio-Tech in 2008 and was re-certified by the Board of Certification in Orthotics, (B.O.C.), in 2009. Bobby has worked in Chapel Hill and Greensboro, N.C. and finds it a great pleasure and privilege to meet and care for patients every day.

Bobby is an avid reader, enjoys antiquing and spending time with his family.

Allison AndradeAllison Andrade, C. P. O.

Allison entered the O&P profession in 2009 and has practiced in St. Louis, MO, Memphis, TN, and Little Rock, AR before joining the Bio-Tech Winston-Salem office in July of 2015. Allison received her undergraduate education at Saint Louis University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing. She found success in a large marketing firm in Saint Louis, Missouri before discovering her ultimate passion for prosthetics and orthotics. She rerouted her career path to pursue her passion and enrolled in Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Allison received two graduate certificates in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Northwestern University, was named valedictorian for both programs, completed a two year O&P residency in Memphis, TN, & became a Board Certified & Licensed Practitioner. Her diverse background in the field spans from pediatric prosthetic care for the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fitting wounded warriors with the most advanced O&P technologies available. She is driven by the successes and motivation of her patients, as well as the families who are deeply affected by the patients’ diagnoses. She is committed to providing the thorough, comprehensive, compassionate care that is demanded for quality of life restoration and betterment of the patients’ lives.

Michael R. Neal, C.P.O.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist


Mike has been working in orthotics and prosthetics since 1986 and opened Bio-Tech with Tony Saia, C.P.O. in 1995. After working at UNC, Chapel Hill, N.C., Mike worked with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee but returned to North Carolina, to Greensboro, in 1992. Mike was certified by the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics, (ABC), in 1994 and is a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, (AAOP).

In his spare time, Mike enjoys golf and spending time with his two children.

 


Jack R. Jones Jr., C.O., B.O.C.O. RN-NPFA “Reggie”
Certified Orthotist, Registered Nurse

Reggie has been working in orthotics in High Point, N.C. for over 31 years but started in healthcare as an RN in 1978. He specializes in adult and pediatric orthotics and currently cares for patients in Thomasville, Asheboro, and Winston-Salem as well as High Point. Reggie is certified by ABC and BOC and is a member of AOPA. Educated at North Carolina state on a baseball scholarship, Reggie majored in Marine Microbiology before earning his nursing degree. As well as his substantial qualifications in healthcare, he also owns J.R. Jones Jr. Racing Stables, Racing Harness Horses in US and CA.

Reggie enjoys inventing safety orthotics to protect the legs of horses as they train and has been involved in the horse business for many years.

In whatever spare time he can find he also enjoys hunting and fishing!

Clint Swaringen, C.P.
Certified Prosthetist

Clint joined Bio-Tech in 2014 and has been working in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics since 2010. He received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at Appalachian State University in 2007, and attended California State at Dominguez Hills for Prosthetics in 2010. Clint became certified as an ABC practitioner in 2012, and is currently undergoing his orthotics residency. He has worked in Charlotte, Statesville, and Greensboro for the past 4 year and now works in the Winston-Salem office.

In his spare time, Clint enjoys spending time with his family and new born daughter, and playing racquetball

Randall W. Clendenin, C.O. / C. Ped
Certified Orthotist/ Certfied Pedorthist

Randy received his certification by the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He has worked for Bio-Tech in Greensboro for over eight years and specializes in pediatric orthotics. In fact, Randy spends every Wednesday working with the children at the Gateway Education Center in Greensboro.

Randy was born and raised in North Carolina and enjoys going out to the movies when not working!

Dwayne Marley, C.P.O.
Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist

Dwayne has been working in orthotics and prosthetics since 1987 and joined Bio-Tech in 2008. Having attended Rockingham Community College and North Carolina A&T University, Dwayne became certified by the American Board Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics, (ABC), in 2000 as an orthotist and as a prosthetist-orthotist in 2003. He currently works in both our Bio-Tech office in Raleigh and our office in Greensboro but has practiced at many hospitals in North Carolina including; Alamance Regional, Morehead Memorial, Moses Cone, UNC, Durham Regional and Wesley Long.

Gregory Van Lindley, C.O.A.
Certified Orthotic Assistant

Greg began working in orthotics in 1990 and was certified as an orthotic assistant in 2005 by the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics (ABC). Greg is from Graham, N.C. and joined Bio-Tech in 1996. When not working, Greg enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.

Joseph Gladson, C. P. O. A.
Certified Prosthetic Orthotic Assistant

Joey has been working in orthotics and prosthetics since 2005 and is a member of the staff at Bio-Tech Greensboro. He was certified by the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2012. Joey is actively involved in the community in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program, coaches high school wrestling and is president of BAU softball league. Although very involved in athletics and work, he still finds time to enjoy quality time with his wife and new baby boy.

Sam Stuart
Resident in Prosthetics & Orthotics

Sam has been working in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics since 2011. He received his Bachelors degree in Sports Medicine and Health Sciences from Guilford College in 2011. In 2012 he went on to pursue a Masters degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Pittsburgh. Sam is currently doing a dual residency at our Winston-Salem office and is working towards becoming ABC certified in both Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
